We added another 26 ton crane truck to our fleet. This is the truck pictured at Orchard's yard.

We got a new JCB Teletruk

This is our brand new JCB Teletruk from GB Forklifts in Cheltenham. It's a 3500Kg Construction Master to replace the previous 3000Kg model which wasn't quite up to the task. 

We had a fork positioner added for stabilising long loads like packs of scaffold boards and bundles of long scaffold tube. The other benefit is the driver doesn't need to get off the forklift to adjust the width of the forks by hand every five minutes, making this a popular add-on among staff. 

The fork positioner is from CAM Attachments. It spreads from 0.5m to 2.1m.

We've upgraded our card readers to accept contactless payments.

Double Truck Force

Since our last post, we are now running two 26 ton crane trucks. We also now have a tele-handler type fork-lift to complement the ordinary counterbalance forklift in our yard.

Revolutionary Plastic Brick Guards

We've started stocking a new product - the one-piece plastic brick-guard. It stacks neatly and doesn't need separate hooks or zip-ties to attach it to the scaffold guard-rail. It really is a great innovation that saves time and lessens the hassle associated with other brick-guards, such as the awkwardness of handling and storage. Carrying the heavy load

Since our last post, we've acquired a 26 ton crane lorry, so we're now able to handle larger loads and the crane makes on and off-loading a cinch where there's no forklift available on site (in most cases).
